📦 Return & Refund Policy

🔄 1. Exchange Eligibility

We accept exchange requests under the following conditions:

Application Period: Within 7 days of receiving the product.
Product Condition: Must be brand new, unused, undamaged, with original packaging and all accessories (including anti-counterfeit tags).
Exchange Scope: Limited to the same product (different size or color) or a product of equal value (customer pays the price difference, if applicable).
Return Shipping: Customers must select and pay for their preferred shipping carrier and bear all shipping risks (tracked shipping is recommended).
Shipping Cost:

  • First Exchange: Customer covers return shipping; we cover shipping for the replacement product.

  • Second Exchange: Only applicable if due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent or quality issues). In this case, we cover round-trip shipping.
    Exchange Limit: Each order can be exchanged only once, except for exchanges due to our responsibility.

💰 2. Return & Refund Eligibility

Return Shipping: Customers must select and pay for their preferred shipping carrier and bear all shipping risks (tracked shipping is recommended).
No Restocking Fee: We do not charge restocking fees; the refund amount will be the actual amount paid for the product.

📌 3. Return & Exchange Process

1️⃣ Submit a Request
Send an email to [dsmodelcustoms@gmail.com],including:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return/exchange

  • Details of the replacement product (if applicable)

  • Your name and contact information

  • Product photos (if necessary)

2️⃣ Approval Confirmation
We will review your request within 48 hours and notify you via email.

3️⃣ Return the Product
Once approved, customers should select and arrange shipping to the designated return address.
For international returns, please clearly label the package as "Return Goods - No Commercial Value" and retain the tracking number.
If we do not receive the returned product due to any reason, customers must pay the corresponding product price.

4️⃣ Exchange Processing
After receiving and verifying the returned product, we will ship the replacement product within 3 business days. If a price difference applies, we will notify you by email and ship the product once payment is received.
We only cover customs duties for outgoing shipments; customers are responsible for any additional customs duties or taxes.

5️⃣ Refund Processing
After return approval, refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Refund processing times vary based on your bank or payment provider.

6️⃣ Rejection of Return/Exchange
If the product does not meet return/exchange conditions, we will notify you via email with specific reasons.

🚫 4. Exceptions & Additional Information

The following products are not eligible for return or exchange:
Customized products (e.g., engraved or specially painted models)
Personal preference (e.g., dislike of color)
Items past return/exchange period or used products
Products with damaged packaging, missing accessories, or missing original packaging

🌍 International Orders
Returns/exchanges are limited to the original shipping address. Customers are responsible for any taxes, duties, or price differences.
Unauthorized returns (without prior approval):

  • Exchanges: Customers bear round-trip shipping costs.

  • Returns: Only 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.

⚠️ 5. Legal Responsibilities & Disclaimers

📍 Shipping Risks
If the returned product is damaged or lost during shipping, customers must file a claim with the shipping provider. We can assist by providing necessary documentation.
Customers bear full responsibility for customs issues or duties arising from improper labeling (failure to mark the package clearly as "Return Goods - No Commercial Value").

📍 Customer Responsibilities
Products modified or misused by the customer (e.g., paint damage, broken joints) automatically lose return/exchange eligibility.
If logistics damage is not reported within 24 hours after delivery with video proof of unboxing, the product is considered accepted in good condition.

📍 Force Majeure Exemption
Delays caused by war, pandemics, or natural disasters do not constitute a breach of contract.
Refund delays due to payment platform issues (e.g., PayPal risk control) may extend processing up to 30 days.
Time zone differences and other uncontrollable factors are not our responsibility.

📍 Prevention of Policy Abuse
Customers exceeding 2 return/exchange requests per order or an annual return rate exceeding 65% will have their accounts permanently restricted.
Customers making fraudulent claims (e.g., falsely claiming quality issues for used products) will have 50% of the refund withheld as an inspection fee.

📚 6. Legal Application & Dispute Resolution

⚖️ Local Law Priority
If this policy conflicts with mandatory local consumer protection laws, local laws prevail; other unaffected terms remain valid.

🌍 Special Regional Regulations

  • EU Orders: Follow the Consumer Rights Directive, but customized products are not eligible for the 14-day no-reason return policy.

  • California, USA Orders: Consumers may request return-related data under the CCPA, but this cannot be used for legal claims.

🏛️ Dispute Resolution
Priority is given to negotiation; unresolved disputes will be submitted to courts in our company's registered jurisdiction (China).

📖 7. Policy Language & Interpretation

In case of discrepancies between language versions, the Chinese version prevails.
Customers may request the full Chinese version of the return/exchange policy.
Our company reserves the final interpretation rights for this policy.
